This piece is part of a project that focuses on the “Unsung Heroes” of the art world. My task was to create a zine inspired by an artist in the V & A. The artist I chose was the jeweler/ sculptor Hans Stofer. Stofer’s work explores the “importance of how we regenerate in order to cope”, and his pieces often have elements of rebirth and repair.
My flipbook represents the constant rebirth that we as people undergo on a daily basis. We learn and we laugh and we love and we lose and through each step we discover something new about ourselves and about the world that changes who we are. Experience. Blossom. Grow. Repeat.
